Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the HellNah Jobs browser extension handles information when you use it. The extension is developed by DOF Technologies with local data storage as a core principle.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the HellNah Jobs browser extension and its features on supported job platforms.
2. Information processed by the extension
HellNah Jobs processes only the information required to provide its disclosed features.
3. How information is used
Information is used exclusively to create and manage your company blocklist, compare company names in job listings, display badges and controls, apply your preferences, and provide blocklist import, export, and merging.
4. Local storage
Your company blocklist and preferences are stored using the browser extension’s local storage. HellNah Jobs does not operate a backend or external server infrastructure for storing or synchronizing this data.
5. Data transmission
HellNah Jobs does not send your company blocklist, preferences, job listing content, or browsing history to DOF Technologies servers or third-party providers.
6. Browser permissions
The extension requests only the permissions required to provide its core functionality.
Local storage
Used to save your company blocklist and extension preferences.
Access to supported websites
Access to LinkedIn, DOU, and Djinni is required to read the visible company name in a job listing and display HellNah Jobs controls beside it.
8. Analytics and tracking
The extension does not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics systems, or technologies that track your activity across websites.
9. Data retention and deletion
Data remains stored locally until you remove individual companies, import a replacement list, clear the extension’s data, or uninstall the extension. You can manage your blocklist through the HellNah Jobs popup.
10. Third-party platforms
HellNah Jobs operates on LinkedIn, DOU, and Djinni pages but is not part of, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of these services. Your use of these platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Security
Not transmitting data to an external server reduces the risk of your data being disclosed outside your device. However, the security of locally stored data also depends on the security of your device, browser, and browser profile.
12. Limited use of data
Information received through browser APIs and processed during the operation of the extension is used in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide features that are directly visible to and controlled by the user.
13. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated if HellNah Jobs features, data-handling practices, or distribution platform requirements change. The current version will remain available on this page together with the date of its latest update.
